Peacefully at home, on Monday, November 13, 2006, Anna, in her 85th year. Loving and devoted wife of 58 years to Wasyl. Beloved mother of Helen, George and wife Kathy, Ihor and wife Caroline. Proud Baba of Christina, Natalie, Caitlin, Steven, Sean, Sydney and Vanessa. Dear sister of Katarina, Oksana and their families of Ukraine. Predeceased by parents Eva and Wasyl Soroka, sisters Maria, Nadia, and brother Ivan. Also will be missed by relativesand friends in Canada, United States and Ukraine. Long time parishioner of Holy Spirit Church and St. Nicholas Church. Also a member of C.W.L. Special thanks to the staff of Arbour Creek for their compassionate care. Visiting will be held at MARKEYDERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth), on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Panachyda, Wednesday at 7:30 p.m Funeral Service will be held at Holy Spirit Church, on Thursday, November 16, 2006, at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
